Tarrant County is where both Fort Worth and Arlington are located, and it has experienced a huge amount of growth in recent years.  About half of the county’s two million residents live in these two cities.  There are several universities and schools to choose from, including the Texas Christian University and the University of Texas at Arlington.  One of the most famous attractions in Fort Worth is the Stockyards National Historic District, an old-west themed shopping and entertainment district. There are a number of lakes and parks throughout the county, including the beautifully scenic Eagle Mountain Lake in the northwest.
