Bosque County has prehistoric roots, despite being created in 1854. The 18,326 residents know there is more than meets the eye. Located between Austin and Dallas, Dinosaur Valley State Park is a place you can hike, bike, swim, fish, and camp where these prehistoric creatures once roamed. If you’re interested more in the creatures of now, head over to Fossil Rim Wildlife Center - an animal conservation founded over thirty years ago - where you can see everything from wolves to zebras.
